SSPSNJ would like to send our condolences to Jeff and Tracy on the passing of Shiloh. They adopted her over 4 years ago from us and gave her a wonderful home. She will be missed very much by her family and friends.
Meet Shiloh. She is one lucky little girl! After the hurricane she was tossed out of a car window. Fortunately, some people saw what was happening and they were able to catch her before she got hit by a car. She was taken to Gloucester County Animal Shelter and then she was given to us. She is very friendly, sweet, loving girl who did not deserved to be tossed out like an old rag. She is socialized and likes to be walked on a leash. She gets along with other dogs. Loves to ride in a car. We are getting her a dental on 12/4/12 and she will be ready to go to her new home.
* We do not permit adoptions of shelties as gifts. If you would like to give one as a gift you can contact us for advice on how to handle the situation.
Please note that we do NOT adopt to homes with children under the age of 10. Herding dogs, especially shelties, tend to chase whatever/whoever is running & they often will nip at the back of legs in their attempt to gather everyone into a neat, manageable area.
If you cannot adopt but would like to make a donation or to sponsor one of our forever fosters, seniors or special needs dogs, please email Aneita.
