Sheldon passed over the Rainbow Bridge July 2016.
14 years ago in July my family and I were lucky enough to have adopted one of SSPSNJ's rescue shelties. He was temporarily named Sheldon, and was 6 months old. We kept his name and loved him for the last 14 years. He was the sweetest and most loving dog we could have ever have hoped for. We had to go through with the agonizing reality of helping him out of his pain. He had rectal cancer began to decline.
Thank you for all you do and please accept this small donation to use where it can help the most.
Respectfully, Cindy Jones
* We do not permit adoptions of shelties as gifts. If you would like to give one as a gift you can contact us for advice on how to handle the situation.
Please note that we do NOT adopt to homes with children under the age of 10. Herding dogs, especially shelties, tend to chase whatever/whoever is running & they often will nip at the back of legs in their attempt to gather everyone into a neat, manageable area.
If you cannot adopt but would like to make a donation or to sponsor one of our forever fosters, seniors or special needs dogs, please email us.
