Forever Fosters

A Forever Foster is a Sheltie that has issues that may be seen as not adoptable for various reasons. These issues can include but are not limited to age, medical, or issues with temperment. The Rescue takes full responsibly for the Shelties. All the Forever Fosters receive medical care and the training needed to help them from day to day. They all live in foster homes and are treated as one of the foster home's own dogs. We do not have a time limit that a Sheltie can stay in the rescue. Our goal is to make them happy and healthy as long as they are with us.

Most of the Forever Fosters do have medical issues. The bills do add up quickly. If you would like to donate or sponsor one of our Forever Fosters you can use the donate button or email Aneita. Please specify which Sheltie you would like to support.

Matilda is a beautiful special needs sheltie.

Two senior shelties named Snickers and Blondie.

* We do not permit adoptions of shelties as gifts. If you would like to give one as a gift you can contact us for advice on how to handle the situation.
Please note that we do NOT adopt to homes with children under the age of 10. Herding dogs, especially shelties, tend to chase whatever/whoever is running & they often will nip at the back of legs in their attempt to gather everyone into a neat, manageable area.
If you cannot adopt but would like to sponsor one of our seniors or special needs dogs, please email Aneita.
